That looks like it may be prepped for racing. Am I seeing things?
I...I have to admit I don't like Miatas a lot, but...Can you rally prep it? Is that even possible?

Nah, roll-over bars should be mandatory on NA and NB cars, the a-pillars will break like wooden chopsticks in the event of a rollover. NP if the mechanical bits are sound and the interior's okay.
And to answer the second question, yes.

Looks like it's got a body kit, spoiler, real roll bar, later wheels and driving lights. Probably a bit of work done under the hood as well. Basically, all a Miata needs to be prepped for racing is the roll bar, so you're good to go!
Also - was talking to a guy with a BRZ as a local autocross event - he also rallycrosses his car and said that apparently Miatas are pretty successful in rallycross.

Not a bad price for one but it has the twist NB rims and that body kit is kinda ugly IMO. The last part of the add worries me about it being on its second engine. Miata's are pretty reliable and to have a second engine and say it wore the other one out makes it seem like the owner drives it hard. You have to find out if tranny and rear diff have been changed or anything.
My impression is that he drives it hard and there might be some underlying issue so he wants to unload it. But that is a pretty good price.

Why everyone else gets clean awesome Miatas like this and us we get rusted ones with different color panels for the same price or more?? Makes me wanna get one from the states to import here!
